Serving our community & Middle Tennessee with quality arts experiences.

Mission Statement

Willow Oak Center for Arts & Learning provides experiences in the arts and humanities to all people.

Vision Statement

Setting the standard for inspiring and nurturing artistic expression throughout the region.

Value Statement

Willow Oak is about inspiring and nurturing the creative spirit in a welcoming environment, whether in our onsite classes and rehearsals or the outreach programs we offer in Robertson County.

Willow Oak serves approximately 14,000 children, youth and adults each year in our onsite and community outreach programs. Willow Oak has grown each year since it was formed in 2007.  Since 2014, with the exception of Covid circumstances, we have grown an extraordinary average of 55% each year.

Our programmatic growth hinges on expanding our physical space. Our current 2,000-square-foot facility serves us well, but there is so much more we can do.

Our vision is to acquire a building to expand our programs. Our plan is to have several classrooms dedicated to specific arts media, including a painting room for adults, a children’s art room and a fiber arts room for wool spinning and weaving classes. We envision a large rehearsal space that can be flipped into a performance venue, along with a gallery, a teaching kitchen, a pottery barn, large rooms with lots of storage and gardens.

Willow Oak is excited to be engaged in a strategic planning process to bring our vision into reality.
