The Willow Oak Chorale, made up of adult & students in grades 7-12, performs with orchestra twice a year. Its repertoire includes many genres: classical, Broadway, jazz, and popular to name a few. The Chorale has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City on two separate occasions.
Students in grades K-3 are invited to join Kinder Choir, and students in grades 4-6 join Treble Choir! Learn how to sing in a group, blend voices, and read music – all while having fun!
Amy Frederick began studying the piano when she was six years old. After high school, she won the Birmingham Music Club competition which awarded her enough money to attend the Aspen Music Festival. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Music. Following a four-and-a-half month stint performing on a paddlewheel boat in Otsu, Japan, Ms. Frederick moved to Nashville.
