Writer’s Workshop

Saturday, September 20

2 Sessions: 9:30-11:30 am, 2:00-4:00 pm CCC

Ages: High school to adult   

Cost: $40

Instructor:  Michael Freeland

The Writer’s Workshop will be an interactive workshop with participants beginning to put ideas on paper.  Everyone has a story to tell.  This workshop will give pointers on how to begin to record your words and thoughts and move forward to see where they lead.

Beekeeping: A Year & the Life of an Apiary

Friday, Nov 7, 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Saturday, Nov 8, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm CCC

Ages: 6th Grade to Adult 

Instructor:  Greg Miles, beekeeper

Cost:   $40

Supplies:  $10 book

Information will be given on the history of beekeeping, what you need to know to keep bees, treat disease and pests, and harvest honey.  You will be shown how to build a hive and how to use equipment.
