Hello and welcome to Willow Oak! Willow Oak Center for Arts & Learning offers quality arts and educational programs for children and
adults. More than 6,500 people of all ages have participated in our programs since we began in July 2007!

Great things are happening at Willow Oak! We are honored to announce the addition of Roger Bunch as our Artistic Director. He is well-known to Robertson Countians for his more than 40 years of teaching in the public school system. He directed our highly successful “Night of Broadway” in December. The show featured our very gifted local talent including two Broadway performers. More than 80 people participated in this event which was sold out!
With Roger as Artistic Director, Willow Oak is able to offer more music and drama programs. New this semester are a Boys Choir which will perform at Carnegie Hall in 2013, our Adult Choir’s performance of John Rutter’s Requiem in April, a conversational French course, and a Broadway workshop series.
Our visual arts offerings continue to grow with the addition of two new excellent teachers. Fiber arts are the focus of our folk arts division this semester. We are excited to schedule etiquette classes for children and teens.
Fridays at Willow Oak include our very popular Painting Parties, Shakespeare readings, evenings of writing, and amosaic tile workshop.
Our 4th Annual Multicultural Arts Festival will take place at Highland Crest College with an array of performers, display booths, items to buy, and food. This event is funded in part by a grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission and is free to children and adults.

Sets, props, and plots are the focus of this final session. Learn the elements of designing and building a set, working with props, and creating an exciting stage on which the plot will develop.

Scholarships are available to children and adults for all Willow Oak programs in 2012. Scholarships are awarded based on need and distributed on a first- come, first-served basis.
